- First Look Teaser for 'BRB' Indie Comedy Film Starring Autumn Best (February 5, 2026)
"What was he evening trying to say?" A first look teaser has debuted for an indie comedy film called BRB, a throwback to the era of dial-up and away messages and handheld cameras. This film is premiering at the 2026 Slamdance Film Festival later this month - you can catch some screenings in Los Angeles soon if you want to watch it during its world premiere. A love-sick teenage girl and her older sister embark on a road trip to meet her online boyfriend, but what begins as a fun, sisterly quest quickly devolves into chaos as each girls’ ulterior motives are revealed and the lies pile up faster than the miles. Filmmaker Kate Cobb explains: BRB is a tender, darkly funny ode to early internet girlhood, complicated sisterhood, and what it means to be both too visible and unseen at the same time. The indie film stars Autumn Best & Zoe Colletti, with Beth Lacke, Keith Kupferer, Richard David, Dan Haller, & Cristian Lager. It's worth a quick look. // Continue Reading ›

- First Look Teaser for 'Faces of Death' Unsettling Cult Horror Remake (February 4, 2026)
"The end of the beginning, or the beginning of the end?" IFC has revealed the first look teaser trailer for a very unsettling new horror movie called Faces of Death, a modern meta horror remake of the one of the most infamous cult movies ever made. This one is definitely going to make some people upset – not the kind of movie everyone wants to see. But hey that's how most of the horror genre works. "You can't unsee it." A woman, employed as a website content moderator, comes across a series of violent videos reproducing death scenes from a cult film - the original Faces of Death (from 1978). Playing up the "is it real?" angle to make viewers sick. This new update stars Barbie Ferreira & Dacre Montgomery, with Josie Totah, Aaron Holliday, Jermaine Fowler, and Charli XCX. From the same director of Cam and How to Blow Up a Pipeline. "We're in awe of Daniel Goldhaber’s reimagining of Faces of Death. His take is unsettling, timely, and provocative, and we can’t wait to unleash it in theaters everywhere this spring." For horror fans only. 💀 // Continue Reading ›
- Watch: Emma Stone in Stylish Squarespace Ad from Yorgos Lanthimos (February 4, 2026)
"Get your domain before you lose it." The horror! This is what happens when you don't register your own domain name before someone else does. You make Emma Stone angry! Very, very angry! A funny new Super Bowl commercial has debuted online early for the website service known as Squarespace. It's yet another fresh & fun collaboration between Oscar-winning actress Emma Stone and the brilliant Greek filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos - after making a bunch of films together (Bugonia most recently) they also made the music video Beth's Farm. Lanthimos also directed the kooky Prada bag commercial with Scarlett Johansson last year (watch that here). This new commercial is a short film called Unavailable, starring Emma Stone as a woman on an island who can't get her own name for her domain because it's already taken. It's like a funky Yorgos Lanthimos spin on The Lighthouse but, uh, about website domains instead of lobsters & farts. They even created a fun series of unique Lanthimos-esque posters to go along with it. View the video below. // Continue Reading ›
- Alan Ritchson Fights Alien Mech in 'War Machine' Sci-Fi Action Trailer (February 4, 2026)
"Whatever that thing is – it's hunting us." Netflix has revealed the first official trailer for an action thriller movie called War Machine, the latest from action director Patrick Hughes (Red Hill, The Expendables 3, The Hitman's Bodyguard). Not to be confused with Netflix's 2017 Brad Pitt movie also called War Machine about Afghanistan. This new one actually has some aliens in it (or so it seems). It follows the final recruits of a grueling special ops boot camp for US Army Rangers who encounter a deadly force – a sentient deadly robot warrior – from beyond this world. The team's training exercise turns into a "fight for survival against an unimaginable threat." Starring Alan Ritchson, Dennis Quaid, Stephan James, Jai Courtney, Esai Morales, Blake Richardson, Keiynan Lonsdale, and Daniel Webber. This looks pretty damn cool. A bit like the original Predator but with this giant mech robot alien thing instead of a Yautja. Fire it up below. // Continue Reading ›
